- Compatible NAS: The RX6022sas is only compatible with the Synology HD6500. It cannot be used with other Synology NAS models.
- Drives: Synology only guarantees full functionality, reliability, and performance for Synology drives listed on the official compatibility list. Using non-validated drives may limit features or cause instability.
- SSD Installation: To install 2.5" SATA SSDs, you must purchase optional 2.5" drive trays (R5) separately.
- Performance: For best results, create storage volumes within the same unit (either the NAS or the expansion unit), rather than spanning volumes across both.
- Multipathing: The RX6022sas supports multipathing when connected to the HD6500, increasing service availability and transfer speed.
